Sustainable by Design
Creative thinking and innovation have gone into making Hēlio a model of energy-efficiency. Our objective was to imagine every way a building could both conserve and produce energy to power itself. The result was our leading-edge design. Roof and canopy solar panels harness the energy of the sun and produce about 950,000 kWh, enough to power 100 homes for one year! With superior heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, highly efficient lighting, and enhanced insulation, Hēlio is 77% more efficient than similar residential buildings, which is why it has earned the title of the most energy-efficient, high-performance building in Canada. When it came to putting a name to our energy-smart building, it seemed only natural to pay homage to our greatest resource of light and heat, so we named it Hēlio after the Greek god of the sun.
Creature Comforts
Hēlio offers variety that suits your individual lifestyle. There is a collection of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom suites, each with a variety of layouts. Each has been thoughtfully designed, and residents will enjoy stunning views, and a host of amenities they can take advantage of. As a resident, just outside your door you’ll find Ignite, a yoga studio and gym, and Eclipse, a multimedia room with theatre-style viewing. When you want to host a party, Citrine is the perfect venue, complete with a large kitchen, fireplace lounge and balcony. Convenience is built into Hēlio with retail spaces on the main floor, electric vehicle charging stations and controlled access to the building.
Community-Inspired
Located in London’s first community powered by the sun, Hēlio is built to be a part of a friendly neighbourhood where you can easily connect with each other and with nature. It’s designed to be a walkable, pedestrian-centric atmosphere connected to trails, paths and open green spaces.
