Even when there isn’t anything marked on the calendar, visitors and residents are free to enjoy all that Legacy Square has to offer. The open green space is perfect for reading a book or enjoying a picnic lunch. For a tranquil escape, visit our meditative labyrinth—a beautifully designed path that promotes calm and mindfulness. Children can delight in the log jam play area, engaging their imaginations while getting some fresh air.

Art in the Park

Legacy Square is also home to large scale solar artwork with lighting powered by the sun, and an interactive sundial, each reflecting our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Native plants enhance the natural beauty, while the stage and sitting areas provide perfect spots for community engagement and relaxation.

A testament to our rich history, Legacy Square houses a time capsule commemorating Sifton Properties’ 100th anniversary, symbolizing our enduring legacy and forward-looking vision.

At Legacy Square, you can enjoy a variety of live events, from musical performances and markets to outdoor fitness classes. Our community programming is thoughtfully organized year-round by the dedicated Sifton team, offering a range of events and activities tailored to all ages.

Hours of Operation:

6:00am to 10:00pm daily. Visitors are not prohibited outside of these hours.

Within any area of the square, visitors are prohibited from:

  • Operating a motor vehicle of any kind (including an automobile, motorcycle, electric scooter or motor-assisted bicycle). Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and inline skating to remain on pathways while operating.
  • Engaging in conduct that endangers the health and safety of themselves or others.
  • Loitering or soliciting.
  • Smoking or vaping of any kind.
  • Using any area of the square / park for a private event without first establishing an agreement with Sifton Properties.
  • The use of barbecues or portable grills without the explicit permission of Sifton Properties Limited and adherence to safety guidelines. Please contact the Community Connections Manager for more information.
